This awesomely ambitious Contigo campaign was another great collaboration between Vision One Agency and Atypikal Creative. The brief called for a high-output production built to support a wide range of placements, from PDP and DTC assets to organic social, paid media, OOH, and retail media. Productions that require this kind of scale and versatility have become a bit of a specialty for V1A, and this one was no exception.
We took the shoot to New York City, which is never the easiest place to produce in, but always one of the most creatively rewarding. Over two cold production days, we moved across multiple neighborhood locations and city streets, capturing a wide range of looks while keeping the production efficient and the creative cohesive.
With everything carefully storyboarded ahead of time, we knew exactly what we needed to capture, what would cut together, and where we had room for the “nice-to-haves.” It’s an ever-evolving process that helps ensure the best possible outcomes. Decisiveness paired with flexibility is a delicate balance on productions like this, and the entire team struck that balance extremely well.
To keep the production nimble without sacrificing image quality our DP, Sawyer Gaunt, built out an ARRI Alexa 35 package that struck the perfect balance between cinematic quality and mobility. The goal was simple: stay ready to shoot at any moment while maintaining the visual quality the campaign demanded.
Projects like this only work when the entire team is dialed in. Crews are assembled from all over, and this one delivered across the board, professional, hardworking, and on top of it all. That level of execution starts well before production. Our producers, director, and the Atypikal Creative team did a stellar job setting the table in pre-production so the production crew could come in and knock it all down in the best way possible.
That spirit carried through post as well. Editor Priscilla Perez pulled out all the stops and brought the project home with style, shaping the final assets across the many deliverables the campaign required.
High-output production days are never simple, but with the right plan and the right team, they become exactly the kind of work we love doing.
