This was a really fun studio project that we partnered with Bakr on! On this project we did creative, which we always love to do. We were tasked with creating a hero spot for the brand and a video for their Target.com launch; hit 2 birds with 1 stone essentially. From the start, our client had shared some really cool inspirational videos - a slow-mo Dunkin ad, Chomps stop motion piece, and a super colorful Heinz ad. We wanted to implement as many elements from the inspiration references as we could but also, of course, needed everything to stay in budget so we came up with a treatment that checked all the boxes yet it was doable with a small crew and small budget.
We shot this one in our studio and, wow, there were a lot of cookies eaten on set! Who doesn't love shooting cookie pulls in 120 FPS?!
We only had 1 day and a small crew to make this shoot happen but we pulled it all together and we’re super happy with how it turned out! Our DP, Chris Owsiany, really brought it to another level visually and completely nailed the look we were going for. Sam Powell handled the edit and absolutely knocked it out of the park cutting it all together. The launch was a big success and the Bakr brand is growing like crazy!
